O erro pode ser resolvido da seguinte forma:

Verifique se o Servidor está na mesma rede do Terminal e se os IP's de ambos estão no mesmo range.
Verifique o IP que foi atribuído ao Servidor.
Tente acessar o Servidor pelo Terminal através de seu IP.

Concluindo os testes acima faça o seguinte no Terminal:
Localize e abra o arquivo hosts em C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\;
Altere as duas últimas linhas do arquivo para:
127.0.0.1 localhost
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx nome-servidor

Substituindo apenas o que está em vermelho pelo o IP e o nome do Servidor na rede;

Em seguida, tente novamente efetuar o Fechamento de Caixa.
Caso o fechamento seja finalizado com sucesso, oriente o cliente a contatar um técnico de rede para desabilitar o servidor DHCP automático no Servidor de modo que seu IP permaneça fixo.
